Jane Gallatin Powers

The Life and Legacy of a California Artist by Erin Lee Gafill was first published in Alta Vista Magazine, Monterey Herald, November 28, 1993, and again in the California Historian Magazine, Conference of California Historical Societies, Volume 48, Number 4, Summer 2002.   Gafill and her husband Tom Birmingham are currently working on a book about the artist, who is also her great great grandmother.
