Description
Erin Lee Gafill demonstrates her unique approach to painting color-rich still lifes in a single sitting. Over the course of this four-week workshop, Erin will cover subject choice, composition, lighting arrangements, paint management, and brush technique. Moreover, she will bring students in on her methods of creating volume, drama, and mood as well as her expert approach to color.
Video recordings of the week’s lesson are distributed Wednesdays. You’ll also receive session instructions and supplies lists.
Saturday mornings participants gather for a live painting session with Erin. Gatherings start with a demo, followed by Q&A. There’s time for independant painting, followed by sharing and feed-back from Erin.
Throughout the four weeks you’ll be encouraged to post your work to a private Facebook group for encouragement and feedback.
Participants may use oils or acrylics; Erin will demonstrate in oil paints. Upon registration, a complete supplies list will be provided.
